	After the black is converted to a fill you can go into modify->Shape->Soften fill edges as shown
Now it is time to get rid of a little of the white gradient, this will make it more defined.
	Lets start on the button or rectangle, this will go onto a new layer below all of the other ones.
Converting the black line to a fill will allow you to make it look like it is shown here. Use the selection tool (V) to bring up the orange on the bottom and to bring it down on the top.
	Copy the orange section and then turn it white. Add a new layer above and paste the orange in place, control +shift+v
With the transform tool selected bring down the orange slightly to allow some of the white to show.
