In 2006, a Flash class assignment turned into a tiny escape game called Super Sneaky Spy Guy. The premise was simple: you're locked in a room, you click on stuff, you get out. It hit Melting-Mindz.com, then it hit a few flash portals, then it kept going.

One game became a sequel. A sequel became a series. The series became a franchise of full campaigns, world maps, side stories, themed entries (Egypt, California, Stonedale, Crystal Hunter), and spin-offs that took the formula in new directions. Twenty years later, the studio has shipped over a thousand games across escape rooms, RPGs, multiplayer worlds, and game-creation tools. But it all goes back to one locked room and one sneaky spy guy trying to get out.
