Today I finally have an answer. EscapeMaker is live.

What is EscapeMaker?

EscapeMaker is a free browser tool for building your own point-and-click escape games. No downloads, no installers, and no coding. If you can click, drag, and drop, you can build a room, hide the clues, wire up the puzzles, and share a finished game with a single link.

Why I built it

I am a solo game developer, and I made every one of these escape games by hand. EscapeMaker is the toolkit I always wished existed. It takes the same building blocks I use, rooms, objects, inventory items, and puzzle logic, and puts them in a simple visual editor you can pick up in an afternoon.
