old game

Hi can anyone remember a game a few years old now :it started with a steps to a door the steps had two heads moving around and you had to stop them before you got through the door , it was a long game with loads of rooms to get in and out of , you ended up on a roof , not sure if it was aliens involved ....
it was a really great game but unfortunately I cant think of its name ....
